Bi-Monthly Announcement: Monetary policy on November 30

KARACHI: The central bank is due to announce its monetary policy on November 30 for the subsequent two months, chief spokesman for the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Syed Wasimuddin said on Monday. The central bank cut its key policy rate by 150 basis points to 12 per cent on October 8. The monetary policy, announced on a bi-monthly basis, is expected to witness another cut in discount rate, according to analysts.
