Addressing needs: Universal Children’s Day observed in AJK

Speakers emphasise parent-children bond.

In order to raise awareness among the public and parents in particular about children’s rights, a ceremony was organised by local NGO, Hope, in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.


Speakers emphasised on the need to provide children with the best possible care as they are the future architects of the nation.

They also urged parents to maintain close relations with their children and asked teachers to dedicate themselves to ensure high education standards.

Meanwhile, Universal Children’s Day was observed across AJK on Sunday with Parents pledged to fully address children’s needs and turn them into better human beings who can grow up to play a positive role in the country’s development.
