Labour blues: KESC union warns to relaunch protests

Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) Workers Yakjehti Committee has warned it will relaunch its protest if the company does not abide by the agreement signed between its management and the workers. The convener of the committee, Fareed Awan, said that KESC failed to implement the agreement, signed on July 26 at Governor House. The governor, home minister and administrator of Karachi were contacted repeatedly but no action was taken, he said.
