Security system: Witness protection unit planned

KARACHI: A witness protection unit for the witnesses and their families is being set up in Sindh and will be active in a few days, said Home Minister Manzoor Wassan on Wednesday. While speaking to the business community at the office of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), he said the unit would provide both physical and financial protection. The unit aims to encourage people to come forward and help with prosecutions.
