With a journey titled ADifferentAgenda, Khan set off from Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California on July 10, 2011 with a journey he intends to end in Lahore covering around 25,000 miles, on a bike.
What makes his journey exciting is the live updates on his Facebook page and his website. The places he reaches, the stops he makes and even the accidents that he faces are all on his page and his website – some as updates, others as videos. The videos of his recent accident in Romania are also uploaded on Facebook driving a lot of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ from his 5,000+ fans.
Facebook page rating: Double thumbs up for being courageous to step out and do something different.

Go Moinnnnnn ! You have a fan base and each and everyone of you have been following you through out your journey. This is a great achievement and you will inspire a lot of other Pakistanis who would show a soft image of Pakistan.
well done boy - people talking about giving money used for this trip to charity do not realise that you are doing an excellent job and Pakistan will get recognition due to this trip.
Who are we to judge eachother for charity etc. let Allah be the judge of our good and bad deeds.
having said all that I would suggest that you could come up with an idea of fundraising for flood victims through your trip. I am sure that u will get many sponsors interested..or other cool ideas...may be you could sell this bike in an auction at a very high price and donate that money to charity. just a thought!
All the best dude
Ali
Hey guys, you need to go through his page & website first, Moin has funding based on his agenda, from different people on his way, he isn't out on a luxurious trip. so don't relate everything to a single cause,
Guys, Moin has been through a lot during his journey and personally i believe he connects to each one of us at various levels...which excites us...plus we're living in the 21st Century i think we can easily cross the Pacific Ocean :) Moin crossed it by plane his bike crossed it by Ship. Both were united in Germany from where the 2nd leg of the journey began. We pray for his safety everyday and are anxiously waiting for his safe arrival.
@sami: thats right...keep giving money to the flood victims and make beggars out of them. after all, there is only one aspect to life... eat not urself, but help the flood victims. sstudy not ur self but help the flood victims, sell your house and donate to the flood victims. the guys agenda is DIFFERENT since he is creating a positive image for Pakistan by showing the west that NO we dont dress in white dresses and have long beards and carry AK47 and blow up randomly...he is showing the lighter side to the country. the side that is very much present and very much embedded in the youth today...heck travelling the world and meeting new people, cultures and making new friends is just a plus...if he makes 200 new friends in this trip, 200 views of Pakistan are definitely improved who in turn will shape newer minds... and I and others like me would pretty much go shape a few hundred more with a similar ride really! :P
he was studying there. coming to lahore to start a journey back to california makes no sense@3akr:
@Sana Iqbal: Inflatable tires?
just one question. How will he cross the ocean on a bike?
Why only up to Lahore? We welcome you if you ended your tremendous effort on the roof of the world Danyore Gilgit or at Hunza. We welcome you.but wish you best of luck Moin.
For all those haters who have nothing better to say about this great journey to improve Pakistan's image, what have you personally done to help Pakistan?
Stop being so hateful and get up the courage do something that is inspires you just like Moin has done!
I am really impressed and wish him the best of luck. I am happy for you that you are doing what you decided to do .Negative people, go get a life. You guys are nothing but losers
What spirit and passion. I salute you Moin, have a safe journey home, we will welcome you in Lahore.
God speed
@sami: lol sami we are not so poor, that we need other's patrol money as donation..relax dude
Stay upright buddy and make sure the rubber sticks to the bitumen.
Umm..Isn't there is a Pacific Ocean between the two destinations? How will he get over that?
@sami
The money you are spend on broadband for your home and the money you used to buy 2-3 cars you might have could have also be given to flood affectees.
stop the negativity. He is trying to improve the image of Pakistan in west because all the west hears is about the terrorists we support and hide in our country. So, give the guy a break. Please
@Moin, best of luck for the remainder of your journey. Hope to see you back on a bike soon.
this guy started from Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California to the "slums of the Lahore", Pakistan . why he didnt start from the Bhatti Gate in Lahore to the slums of California.
Moin Khan when you reach Lahore, Halwa Purri is on me...!!!
We wish Moin a safe journey home. I salute your spirit and passion!! God speed
Well Done boy.
Something different? The money this guy spends on the petrol could have been sent to the flood victims or brought medications for the victims of Dengue since he's going to Lahore!
Go Moiinn!!!
