Balochistan, goods transporters have decided to install trackers in their trucks
QUETTA:
After suffering losses worth millions in rampant highway robberies and hold-ups in Balochistan, goods transporters have decided to install trackers in their trucks in order to prevent robberies and to inform authorities quickly for them to be able to trace the bandits. An agreement between a private firm and the All Balochistan Goods Truck Transport Companies Association was inked in this regard. Balochistan chief secretary, while presiding over a transporters’ meeting on Monday, assured to set up a private control-room in Quetta by deploying police officials for monitoring.
