MINGORA: A peace jirga in Swat called for the re-arrest of terrorists who have been released in order to bring them to justice. The peace committee appealed to the judiciary to award an exemplary punishment to them. The demand was made by Nepki Khel Peace Committee chief Saifullah Khan during a press conference at the Swat Press Club on Monday. Khan said the suspected terrorists released from prisons may be involved in attacks on the peace committee leaders and sabotaging peace in Swat. However, members of the peace committee said they would no longer allow terrorists to disrupt Swat’s peace.
