CNG stations to remain open during Eid holidays

The petroleum ministry also agreed on uninterrupted gas supply to the CNG stations from November 4 to 11.

The CNG Association and petroleum ministry agreed on opening the CNG stations during Eid holidays, Express 24/7 reported on Wednesday.

Chairman CNG Association Ghayas Piracha said the petroleum ministry has accepted their demand to keep the CNG pumps operational during Eid holidays.

The petroleum ministry also agreed on uninterrupted gas supply to the CNG stations from November 4 - 11.

The CNG Association Chairman said that the petroleum ministry assured that the gas load management plan will be finalised with consensus.

Piracha said CNG association will soon hold talks with the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to discuss the gas loadshedding in winter.

He warned the CNG association will strongly resist any unilateral decision on gas loadshedding.
