Welcome relief: No death from dengue fever in 24 hours

Around 19,589 dengue patients had been cured and discharged from different hospitals in Punjab.

No dengue-related death has been reported in Punjab during the last 24 hours, says a report released by the Punjab Health Department.


The Health Department report said that 278 dengue patients were cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore during the last 24 hours which included 152 patients from Mayo Hospital, 22 from Lahore General Hospital, 25 from Services Hospital, 15 from Jinnah Hospital, 14 from Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, 44 patients from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and 6 patients from Said Mittha Hospital.

Around 19,589 dengue patients had been cured and discharged from different hospitals in Punjab, out of them, 16,672 patients were cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore so far.

Moreover, 107 confirmed dengue patients have been reported in Punjab, out of them, 93 registered in Lahore.

The total number of dengue patients in Punjab reached to 19,888 and in Lahore to 16,765.
