228 rescuers from Sindh trained

LAHORE:

Oath was administered to 409 rescuers from Punjab and Sindh who completed their training at the Emergency Services Academy.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.

The cadets demonstrated their skills in emergency management during exercises of well and water rescue, firefighting, urban search and rescue, rescue from confined space and height.

The rescuers who completed their training included 228 from Sindh and 181 from Punjab. The passing out batch also included 17 female rescuers.
