Cheat and steal : More than 300 marks sheets snatched

More than 300 marks sheets of private students of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK).

KARACHI:
More than 300 marks sheets of private students of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) were reportedly snatched from the vehicle of a private courier company near Ashraf Community Centre in North Nazimabad. The board cancelled the serial numbers of the stolen mark sheets and ordered new ones. The chairman of the BIEK, Anwar Ahmed Zai, said that the new sheets will be sent urgently via the Pakistan Post. He assured the students that the stolen certificates cannot be used by anyone since their code numbers are with the BIEK and would be deleted. This year the board adopted a new policy in which every mark sheet has a unique code that is confidential and is only available to the BIEK.
