If you think Roznama Jawani is a joke, think again. They are serious in trying to shape opinion on current affairs.

You try searching for a good Facebook page from Pakistan and you’ll find yourself bombarded with comics, comics and more comics. Even though, most of these comics give you a good laugh, nothing can make you roll with laughter better than Roznama Jawani (18+).

Roznama Jawani is different. Instead of trying to coin new jokes or build something from a scratch, they make jokes on what already exists – current affairs.

Roznama Jawani, also running a website and a Twitter account, calling itself a news source bringing in stories from Pakistan as well as the whole world, and gives a serious sound to their fake stories.

The fake seriousness of their jokes extends to the point where other news services have, in the past, believed their news to be real and run their stories.
