Infrastructure Development: Expressway will take two more years
The project, which costs an estimated Rs12.2 billion, will help ease the burden on the existing roads.

The Lyari Expressway will be completed within the next two and a half years, announced the federal minister for communication, Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil, on Friday. The project, which costs an estimated Rs12.2 billion, will help ease the burden on the existing roads. Dr Khalil visited Sindh on the orders of President Asif Ali Zardari to check on the progress of all National Highway Authority projects in the province. Efforts to improve the infrastructure of the city are already under way despite the shortage of funds because of floods, he said.
