A seminar on creating awareness on breast cancer has been planned by Inor Cancer Hospital in Abbottabad in collaboration with Pink Ribbon Campaign on October 25. According to Inor Director Dr Amjad Aziz, the visiting women will be offered free mammogram tests, checkup and medical advice during the seminar. He said over 40,000 women die from breast cancer every year in the country, out of whom 50 per cent are not treated due to lack of awareness. He said breast cancer is a curable disease and Inor is utilising its resources for creating awareness among women so that they can be given timely treatment.
