Two teenage boys riding a motorbike were hit by a passenger van near Sihala Bazar in the outskirts of the city, killing them on the spot.
Police said Mohsin Khan and Abid died on the spot while a third boy, Junaid, sustained serious injuries. The deceased were 16 and 11 years old.
The Sihala police said that a bus (AJK 8813) hit the bike on the side and they fell after the driver lost control over the bike.
All three were underage and did not have driving licenses.
All three were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
The Sihala police registered a case of hit and run against the bus driver, who managed to escape from the scene.
