Dr Abdul Latif Minhas of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) passed away at the age of 70 on Wednesday, said a press release issued by IIUI.
His funeral was attended by renowned doctors, professors, civil and army officers and other political figures.
He was laid to rest at the Army Graveyard in Westridge, Rawalpindi. During his lifetime, Minhas served as a Tuberculosis Specialist at the District Health Office and Fauji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi for several years.
His soyem will be held at House 49, near Fauji Foundation College, New Lalazar, on Sunday.
