Pakistan record win against France

KARACHI:
Mohammad Tauseeq scored a brace as Pakistan defeated France 4-0 in a one-sided encounter at the Barcelona Olympic Stadium. Tauseeq scored the opener in the 16th minute before Rehan Butt followed up with another two minutes later.

Shakeel Abbasi stretched Pakistan’s lead to 3-0 in the 33rd minute. In the second half, Tauseeq scored in the 47th minute to put Pakistan on top.

Pakistan replaced regular goal-keeper Salman Akbar with coach Michel van den Heuvel opting to try out Imran Shah for the first time on the tour. Shah  saved six attempts on goal by the French attack.

Assistant coach Ahmed Alam believes it is going to be a tough choice between the two goal-keepers as Pakistan play against Spain tomorrow before they head to the Netherlands.
