Teacher shot dead in Turbat
Armed assailants riding on a motorbike shot Abid dead as he exited his school.

A school teacher was gunned down by unknown assailants on Air port road near Mirani Deam area in Turbat city on Saturday.
According to a local police official Siraj Ahmed, the teacher, Qamar Abid, had just stepped out from Kech Grammar School located on Airport Road when culprits riding on a motorbike targeted him. He was shot multiple times and died on the spot.
The culprits managed to make good their escape.
Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital Turbat for an autopsy where the body was later handed over to his heirs for burial.
“The victim was a teacher hailing originally from Dera Ghazi Khan. The police are investigating the incident from different aspects,” an official said. The body was sent to Dera Ghazi Khan for burial.
