SANGHAR:

The ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Esa Al Basha Al Naeemi, visited the flood-affected areas in Sanghar to distribute goods at a relief camp set up at the OPF Educational Complex on Tuesday.

Brigradier Ghiasuddin briefed the guests on the scale of devastation and what they were doing to help the people.

The performance by Jawad Ali Mari, a child at the camp who sang the national anthem, impressed the ambassador and led him to sponsor Mari’s family to travel to Dubai.

When speaking to the media, Al Naeemi said that the government and people of UAE would help their brothers in Sindh in any way possible.

He said that the international community and Muslim countries in particular, should come forward to help Pakistanis get these people back on their feet.
