Student Murder: Headmaster sacked for neglecting school

Alleged negligence in a murder incident involving a tenth grade student three days ago.

A school headmaster was removed from his post for his alleged negligence in a murder incident involving a tenth grade student three days ago.


According to police officials, Government Boys High School Kot Issa Shah headmaster Muhammad Nawaz was removed from his post due to his alleged negligence which resulted in the murder of 10th grader Muhammad Husain by 9th grade student Abdur Rehman.


After attending the assembly, when the students returned to their class rooms Abdur Rehman chased Muhammad Husain and began swearing at him before pulling out a knife and attacking him.

The incident took place in the presence of a number of students and school teachers.

The victim was crying from the wounds but none of the students or staff tried to save Abdur Rehman who died from his injuries. Investigations revealed that 5 senior teachers of the school were also on leave on the day of murder.

Executive district officer (EDO) Education took notice of the incident and removed Headmaster Muhammad Nawaz from his post.
