The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday sought an explanation from Lahore Development Authority deputy director Azhar Ali for concealing facts from the court. The deputy director obtained a stay order on September 29 from an LHC judge against a session court order, when another LHC judge had already ordered the police to implement the sessions court’s directions for the registration of a case against police and LDA officials over the of four labourers in a botched demolition operation in Johar Town.
