Unidentified assailants killed four members of a family in Kakra, some 12 kilometres from Mirpur on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Majeed Zerger, his wife Farzana, daughter Nabeela, 16, and son Nabeel, 15, Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghulam Akber told APP on Saturday.
The official added that the neighbours informed the police on Saturday morning about the incident. Islamgarh police have registered a case regarding the incident.
