Accidents involving heavy vehicles continue unabated in the city, with two police personnel sustaining serious injuries after a dumper ran over their motorcycle near Ahsanabad on the Superhighway. In a separate incident, a young motorcyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a truck near the Baldia Football Stadium.

Taking notice of the incident in which two police personnel were seriously injured, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar sought a detailed report from the SSP east.

According to details, the dumper struck a motorcycle carrying two police personnel near Al-Noor Society on Kacha Paka Road in Ahsanabad, leaving both seriously injured. They were shifted to a nearby private hospital, where they were identified as 28-year-old Hammad and 35-year-old Qadeer.
