Vaccination of Umrah pilgrims and other passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia has been suspended at a dispensary near Karachi Airport.
According to sources, Border Health Services stopped administering meningitis and influenza vaccines to Saudi Arabia-bound passengers at the dispensary on Saturday. Verbal orders to completely suspend the vaccination service had reportedly been issued a day earlier.
Sources said passengers who had already paid for the vaccines through the NADRA app continued to receive their doses until Friday.
