Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday gets new posters ahead of December release
'Avengers: Doomsday' unveils new 4DX and ScreenX posters featuring Doctor Doom and Latverian witches ahead of release

Marvel Studios has unveiled new promotional posters for Avengers: Doomsday, placing Doctor Doom at the centre of its upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster ahead of its theatrical release on December 18, 2026.
According to Collider, the exclusive 4DX and ScreenX posters highlight the film's central villain rather than the extensive superhero ensemble expected to appear in the crossover event. The 4DX design features Doctor Doom in a striking black-and-green colour scheme, while the ScreenX artwork offers a glimpse of the Latverian witches surrounding the formidable antagonist.
The new designs arrive as Marvel prepares to bring together characters from across the MCU, including the Avengers, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. The emphasis on Doom reflects the character's importance to the upcoming storyline, although Marvel has yet to reveal the full details of his plans.
Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, who previously collaborated on Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
The returning cast includes Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
Several familiar X-Men characters will also appear, including Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique and Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler.
The Fantastic Four will join the crossover, with Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.
The film will be released in cinemas on December 18, 2026, with premium 4DX and ScreenX screenings also planned. The formats offer distinct theatrical experiences, with 4DX featuring motion seating and environmental effects, while ScreenX extends the viewing area across the theatre's side walls.
