The body of a 21-year-old mill worker was found buried in a pit behind a local mill in Chak 97-RB, within the jurisdiction of Balochni police station, after human remains were spotted nearby, police said.

The victim, Kashif Nawaz, a resident of Dera Ismail Khan, was allegedly murdered by unidentified individuals, who buried his body after digging a pit behind the mill where he worked.

According to the police report, Kashif's mobile phone had been switched off, prompting his brother, Bilal Sakhi Nawaz, to visit the mill and inquire about him.

Bilal had previously worked at the same mill before leaving for his hometown.

He was told that Kashif had not been reporting for work, raising concerns about his whereabouts. Bilal subsequently contacted police to seek help in locating his brother.
