LAHORE:

Advocate Ramsha Iqbal, sister of actress Momina Iqbal, has claimed that 26 more women, including actresses, have come forward to pursue legal action against Saqib Chadhar.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Ramsha said she had decided to present evidence after facing what she described as sustained pressure and attempts to malign her and her family through the media.

She thanked those who had supported her, saying no woman should have to endure the pressure she had faced.

Ramsha maintained that the documents she presented at her previous press conference were certified copies. She also claimed that decisions by the Punjab Bar and other relevant forums on complaints filed against her had been in her favour.

Questioning why her opponents had failed to establish their allegations before the high court, she alleged that they had repeatedly tried to humiliate her but had not appeared before the courts themselves.

She said the allegations against her had not been proved and that the relevant institutions were in a position to determine the facts.
