Robert Pattinson says he has had one of the best years of his acting career on how he feels to be one of the A-list actors
From ‘Twilight’ to ‘The Batman’, Pattinson has built a career spanning blockbusters and independent films

Robert Pattinson is reflecting on a successful period in his acting career, saying that despite his standing in Hollywood, he still approaches the profession like someone looking for the next job.
“You know, I kind of always approach acting like you’re always just trying to get a job the whole time and sometimes you have really good years. And this was just one of the best years I’ve ever had,” Pattinson said in a clip shared online.
The remark offers a glimpse into how the actor views his recent work. Rather than treating his status as an established star as a guarantee of continued opportunities, he described acting as a career in which fortunes can shift and strong periods cannot be taken for granted.
Pattinson became internationally famous as Edward Cullen in the Twilight film series. After the franchise, he took on roles in independent films and collaborations with acclaimed directors, including Good Time, The Lighthouse and Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. Those projects helped move his screen image beyond his early romantic lead role.
He returned to major studio filmmaking with The Batman, playing Bruce Wayne, and appeared in Bong Joon Ho’s science fiction film Mickey 17. His recent work also includes Primetime, in which he portrays television presenter Chris Hansen in a dramatisation inspired by the making of To Catch a Predator.
The actor has chosen projects that differ in tone and scale, moving between franchise productions and smaller, director led films. That varied filmography has kept audiences interested in what he might do next.
Although Pattinson did not specify what made this year especially rewarding, he clearly regards it as a standout period in his career. His remarks underline a practical outlook: success can be celebrated, but the next job is never guaranteed. He continues to approach success with caution.
