Kelly Osbourne has revealed she has gained 2 stone (28 pounds) since the 2026 BRIT Awards, opening up about her health, grief and life following the death of her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

The 41-year-old television personality shared the update in an interview with The Sun, reflecting on a difficult year following her father’s death in July 2025.

“It’s been the worst year of my life,” Kelly said. “In so many ways, I can’t even explain to you. But it’s also been really beautiful because I’ve learned that my grief is an honour, as I truly love someone that much.”

Discussing her weight change since February’s BRIT Awards, she added, “Do you know that I’ve gained 2st since the BRITs?”

Osbourne also addressed the public reaction to her appearance, admitting she was surprised when she saw photographs of herself.

“I didn’t know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures,” she said. “When I saw them, I couldn’t f***ing believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else.”

She clarified that her earlier weight loss was not caused by an eating disorder, explaining, “It wasn’t an eating disorder. I just couldn’t do anything for myself. Eating made me feel like I wanted to throw up.”

Ozzy Osbourne died aged 76 in July 2025, with an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest reported alongside coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.

Kelly previously addressed criticism of her appearance, explaining that her life had been turned upside down by grief.

In August 2026, she said she was “getting a lot better” and had the support she needed.

“You’ve got to fix the head before you can fix the body,” she said, describing recovery as a long-term process requiring continued work and support.
