Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted holding hands during a night out in New York City on Friday, October 9, as objections from neighbours over their Ohio estate continued.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple were photographed walking towards a waiting black SUV, with Kelce accompanying Swift to the vehicle.

Their outing came amid a dispute over proposed privacy measures at their $5.35 million property in Bratenahl, a village on Lake Erie near Cleveland.

The couple reportedly want to install a six-foot fence and plant tall trees around the estate.

However, some residents have raised concerns about the plans, including their potential impact on neighbouring properties and local wildlife.

Katherine Bolton, who has lived next door for 35 years, described the arrival of her new neighbours as a "tremendous blow" to "the peace and quiet in Bratenahl".

She also questioned the owners’ expected presence at the property, describing the ownership as "absentee".

Bolton additionally raised concerns about evergreen trees being planted near an old clay sewer line shared by the properties.

She said she had been quoted $75,000 to reinforce the pipe against tree roots. Other residents questioned the fence’s spear-topped design and whether it could pose a danger to deer.

Representatives working on the estate reportedly made adjustments in response to residents’ concerns, including moving the fence further inside the property boundary, adding access gates and abandoning plans to extend it towards the lake.

The property manager also said the owners had paid $7,500 to replace a damaged section of the shared sewer and arranged for the line to be cleaned.

According to the Daily Mail, the fence received approval, although parts of the landscaping proposal still required changes.
