'Sikhs can invest in Guru Nanak Expressway'

ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday said the Guru Nanak Expressway Project should be taken to the international tendering stage.

He said the Sikh community residing in the UK, Canada and the US would be invited to invest in the project.

He directed the National Highway Authority to prepare a feasibility for developing the 123-kilometre long Mansehra-Naran highway as a model project.

A detailed presentation was given on various aspects and progress of the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhand-Chilas highway project.
