Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2027 sold out in 42 minutes after thousands of people joined the online queue for the event’s return to Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Tickets went on sale at 09:00 BST on Sunday, with the festival scheduled to take place from June 23 to 27 2027 following a fallow year.

Organisers confirmed shortly after 09:40 that tickets had sold out and notified people who remained in the queue.

Glastonbury tickets cost £408 for 2027, including a £5 booking fee, making them the festival’s highest-priced tickets to date. The price represents a £29.50 increase from the 2025 event.

“Thank you to everyone who bought one and we're sorry to those of you who missed out on a morning where demand greatly exceeded supply,” organisers said in an Instagram post.

“There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in Spring 2027.”

The first ticket sale, covering coach packages, took place on Thursday and sold out in less than 30 minutes.

Headliners for the 2027 festival have not yet been announced. Organiser Emily Eavis previously said the team was “very excited” and that things were “coming together really well”.

Tickets have risen from £185 in 2010 to £408 for the 2027 festival, with the largest increases coming after the pandemic.

Any tickets from Sunday’s sale that are not fully paid for by the early April 2027 deadline will return to the official resale pool. The exact resale date has not been announced.
