50 Cent has reacted to Rick Ross’ arrest by reposting a report about the rapper’s domestic battery charges on social media.

Ross was arrested in Miami Beach on Thursday, October 1, on one felony count of battery by strangulation and one misdemeanor count of battery. The charges are related to an alleged domestic violence incident.

Less than 30 minutes after TMZ reported the arrest and published Ross’ mugshot, 50 Cent reposted a screenshot of the report on his social media accounts. The rapper captioned the post, “LOL 😆 ARRESTED.”

The two rappers have been feuding since 2009, with their dispute continuing through song lyrics, music videos and interviews over the years.

50 Cent had previously commented on allegations involving Ross and his former girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick.

Kendrick accused Ross of physical abuse in Instagram Stories posted on September 26 and shared photographs that she said showed injuries.

50 Cent responded to those allegations on X at the time, writing, “This punk put his put his hands on baby girl, he stressed that album didn't sell. I'd laugh at him, but domestic violence is not a joke.”

It remains unclear whether Kendrick was the woman whose allegations led to Ross’ arrest. Ross’ lawyers reportedly said he was “being wrongfully accused by an ex-girlfriend whose true motivations are unclear.”

“The ex did not even file a police report until a month after the claimed incident allegedly took place,” his attorneys said.

“[Ross] is innocent and has pled not guilty to the charges. He respectfully requests that his friends, fans and the general public not prejudge the situation and allow the judicial process to run its course.”

The arrest followed an alleged August 28 incident in which a woman told police that Ross woke her over a social media photo and allegedly struck her after questioning her about another relationship.
