Kylie Kelce apologised to Kate Middleton after learning more about Princess of Wales’ formal title

Kylie Kelce has apologised to Kate Middleton after learning more about how the Princess of Wales is formally addressed.
The 34-year-old podcast host recently invited Kate to appear on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, referring to her as “Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge” during the Sept. 24 episode.
“I love learning, so I was unaware that calling Princess Catherine, Princess Kate was offensive,” Kylie said during the Oct. 1 episode.
“I didn't know that. Now I know that. Now I will proceed accordingly. I apologise for the mistake. I would like to refer to people in the most respectful way and how they feel respected.”
She then addressed Kate directly, saying: “Princess Catherine or the Princess of Wales, I apologise. I will get that sorted immediately starting now.”
Kylie had invited Kate to discuss topics including field hockey and raising children, noting that their husbands, Prince William and Jason Kelce, had previously spoken on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
Kate's formal title is Catherine, Princess of Wales, and she is formally referred to as the Princess of Wales. She has also remained widely known as Kate Middleton, a name associated with her since her relationship with William before their 2011 wedding.
Kylie also responded to a commenter who suggested she would need to change her language if Kate appeared on the podcast.
“First of all, you're correct. Agreed,” she said.
Kylie said she would like to interview the Princess of Wales but does not expect her to accept the invitation.
“Do I think she has time to hop on this podcast? No, I do not. I don't think that,” she said.
The podcast has previously featured guests including Michelle Obama, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Garner, Kelly Clarkson and Hilary Duff.
