Sony Pictures has announced new release dates for several upcoming films, including Ridley Scott’s Treasure Island, 24 Jump Street, The Surgeon and Narcs.

Treasure Island, starring Hugh Jackman as Long John Silver, will arrive in cinemas on November 11, 2027. The Ridley Scott-directed adaptation is based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel and also stars Hugh Grant and Owen Cooper. Jack Thorne wrote the screenplay, with Scott and Michael Pruss producing through Scott Free.

Meanwhile, 24 Jump Street, the latest entry in the comedy franchise, has been scheduled for December 10, 2027. The film reunites Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Ice Cube, with Rodney Rothman directing. Rothman co-wrote the screenplay with Hill and Meghan Malloy. Neal H. Moritz, Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Tatum and Hill are among the producers.

Sony has also set April 2, 2027, for The Surgeon, an action thriller starring Michelle Yeoh. Directed by Roshan Sethi, the film follows an expert surgeon who is abducted and forced to operate on a mysterious patient before using her skills to fight back against her captors.

The Mason Thames and Ella Bright drama Narcs will open on August 20, 2027.

Sony also moved Helldivers, starring Alan Ritchson and directed by Justin Lin, from November 10, 2027, to June 9, 2028. The change allows Treasure Island to take the earlier date as it enters production first.

Takashi Yamazaki’s Grandgear has also shifted from February 18, 2028, to January 14, 2028.
