'Dexter: Resurrection' season 2 trailer teases new killers and a dangerous return
'Dexter: Resurrection' season 2 follows the return of the franchise after the original series ended in 2013

Michael C. Hall’s Dexter Morgan is back in the first trailer for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2, which introduces new killers and puts the serial killer vigilante at the centre of another deadly game.
Paramount+ has released the first full trailer for the second season, ahead of its premiere on October 30. The new episodes will see Dexter caught between two killers, including a notorious figure from the past and a new murderer terrorising New York.
The season introduces Brian Cox as Don Framt, also known as the New York Ripper. The character is a former subway worker who uses phone calls to torment the families of his victims, while Dexter finds himself drawn into the hunt for the notorious killer.
At the same time, Dan Stevens joins the season as another serial killer known as the Five Borough Killer. Dexter appears less than impressed by the attention the newcomer is receiving, setting up a potential rivalry between the two killers.
Dexter also has to contend with changes closer to home. His son Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, continues his pursuit of justice and becomes a police officer, creating another complication for Dexter as he attempts to maintain his secret life.
The new season also features Kadia Saraf as Detective Claudette Wallace, who is investigating Framt alongside Harrison and his new partner Fiona Mixon, played by Nona Parker Johnson. Krysten Ritter is also returning in a guest role, while Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington and James Remar are among the returning cast members.
Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 follows the return of the franchise after the original series ended in 2013 and the subsequent Dexter: New Blood revival. Michael C. Hall later returned to the role in Dexter: Resurrection, which premiered in 2025.
The second season will premiere on Paramount+ on October 30, bringing Dexter back just in time for Halloween and the franchise’s 20th anniversary.
