George Clooney and his wife Amal have visited Kaia Gerber’s Los Angeles home following the death of her brother, Presley Gerber, at the age of 27.

The couple were photographed arriving at Kaia’s home on Tuesday, two days after Presley died. Clooney has reportedly maintained a close relationship with the Gerber family for decades through his friendship with Rande Gerber.

A source told the Daily Mail that Clooney was deeply affected by Presley’s death, saying, “George is sick over this because Rande is his best friend and everyone felt for Presley.”

The source also claimed that Clooney remained in contact with Presley over the years, including during difficult periods in his life.

“George would spend hours talking to Presley,” the source said. “George is the nicest guy in the world and would do anything to help Rande's family.”

Clooney had previously offered Presley advice following his 2018 DUI. “Don't do that, it's not smart. Be careful,” the Ocean’s Eleven star reportedly told him.

Another source claimed Clooney continued checking in on Presley and sent him letters of support. “I am here for you,” Clooney reportedly wrote.

The Clooneys’ relationship with the Gerber family began through George’s friendship with Rande, who he met in New York in the 1990s.

Their friendship later became a business partnership when the pair, alongside Mike Meldman, launched Casamigos tequila in 2013.

The families remained close after Rande married Cindy Crawford in 1998. Presley was born in 1999, followed by Kaia in 2001, and sources said Clooney was a familiar presence throughout their childhood.

“George was around Presley a lot when he was growing up,” one source told the Daily Mail. “He was Uncle George, and they were all pals, really like family.”

Presley had previously spoken publicly about his experiences with mental health and addiction. His family has maintained privacy following his death.
