'Daredevil: Born Again' sets final season on Disney+

'Daredevil: Born Again' will end with Season 3 as Charlie Cox returns for the final Disney+ Marvel chapter in 2027

Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again will conclude with its upcoming third season on Disney+, bringing the latest chapter of Charlie Cox’s return as Matt Murdock to an end.

The series, which stars Cox as the blind lawyer and vigilante Daredevil, has been confirmed to end after Season 3. The third and final season has already completed production and is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2027.

The news marks the end of Daredevil: Born Again after three seasons on the streaming platform. The series is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and continues the story of Cox’s Matt Murdock, who first appeared as Daredevil in Netflix’s Marvel series.

Production on Season 3 wrapped several months ago, although Disney+ and Marvel Studios have not yet announced an exact release date. Further details about the final season’s storyline and its place within the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe have also not been revealed.

Cox returned to the role of Daredevil in Daredevil: Born Again, which brought the character back into the MCU following the conclusion of the original Daredevil series in 2018. The Disney+ series also features several returning cast members from the earlier show alongside new characters.

The upcoming third season will therefore serve as the conclusion to Daredevil: Born Again, rather than continuing into a fourth season.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported that the Marvel series would end with Season 3, while Variety subsequently confirmed the news.

With production already complete, Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is currently slated to arrive on Disney+ in 2027. Marvel has yet to announce additional details about the final season or its release schedule.
