Rockstar announces GTA 6: The Album with 34 songs, six released tracks and $124.98 collector’s vinyl

Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track collection arriving alongside GTA 6 on November 19.

The album will feature original songs intended to “capture the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto VI’s world of Vice City and Leonida.”

It will be available through Spotify as well as physical formats, including a standard CD, a vinyl release and a collector’s edition vinyl.

The collector’s edition is priced at $124.98/£108.99 and will be released on the same day as GTA 6.

The limited-edition vinyl has already sold out for customers in the UK and Europe through Rockstar’s store, while availability remains in the United States.

Six songs from GTA 6: The Album have already been released. The confirmed tracks include contributions from artists such as Travis Scott, Yung Lean, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Rauw Alejandro, Future and Metro Boomin.

The released songs are Yung Lean’s That’s It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin), Travis Scott’s RHYNO, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de Crécy’s Sexy Magic, Morgan Wallen’s Last Thing You Need, Rauw Alejandro’s Macacoa 2000 and Keith Richards’ Bright Lights, Big City.

The album announcement follows social media activity from several artists on September 15. Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Morgan Wallen and Fred again.. each posted GTA 6-style images, leading to speculation about their involvement in the game’s music.

Rockstar has also teased what it describes as the “next evolution of in-game radio”, suggesting that the music experience within GTA 6 will extend beyond the album.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19. The game is set in Vice City and the wider Leonida region, with the album providing a separate collection of original music connected to its setting.
