Taylor Frankie Paul has revealed details about her unaired season of The Bachelorette, including whether she got engaged and what happened with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, after filming.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 32, filmed Season 22 of the ABC dating series earlier this year. However, ABC cancelled plans to broadcast the season shortly before its scheduled March premiere.

In a preview for Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Taylor confirmed that she became engaged during her time on The Bachelorette. When asked by co-star Jessi Draper whether a contestant proposed, Taylor said she accepted the proposal.

Taylor did not identify the man she became engaged to in the clip. However, Entertainment Weekly reported that contestant Doug Mason was the winner of her season.

Taylor also addressed what happened after she returned home. She said she and Dakota, with whom she shares a son, began texting before he visited her. Taylor did not provide details about what happened during the visit or confirm whether she was still engaged at the time.

Dakota had previously claimed that he and Taylor slept together shortly before she left to film The Bachelorette.

ABC cancelled Taylor’s season after a video surfaced showing a 2023 altercation involving Taylor and Dakota. Disney Entertainment Television said at the time that it had decided not to move forward with the season.

There are currently no reported plans to air Taylor’s The Bachelorette season. More details about her experience are expected when The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5 premieres on Hulu on September 10.
