Bebe Rexha has addressed speculation surrounding her relationship with New York Knicks guard Jordan Clarkson, giving a brief response when asked whether the pair were romantically involved. 

Rexha was approached by TMZ Sports in New York this week and asked whether there were any “sparks” between her and Clarkson after they spent time together in the city last month.

The singer shook her head before responding with one word, “friends.”

The exchange lasted only a few seconds, with Rexha taking photographs with fans when she was asked about Clarkson. She did not provide further details about their relationship.

Clarkson has not publicly announced a relationship with Rexha. The dating speculation followed several public appearances by the pair, rather than comments from either of them describing their connection as romantic.

The rumours began after Rexha and Clarkson were photographed together during an art session in New York on July 27. The pair attended the session with artist Leopoldo Gout at New York Vintners.

One photograph showed Clarkson with his arm around Rexha, while another featured the pair alongside Gout and the finished artwork.

New York Vintners said the three had created the original piece together and indicated that it would be donated to charity.

Rexha and Clarkson were also seen together at Vogue and the CFDA’s United Flags of Fashion celebration at Rockefeller Center. They were photographed together during the event and later left together, according to reports.
