Glenn Close has defended her All’s Fair co-star Kim Kardashian after a follower criticised the reality star in the comments of an Instagram post.
Close, 79, responded on Monday, August 24, after sharing a photograph from the set of the second season of Ryan Murphy’s legal drama.
The image showed Close with Lewis Hamilton, while Kardashian sat in front of them during a break from filming.
“Sir Lewis came by our All’s Fair location. I LOVED meeting him. What a sweet, classy gentleman he is,” Close wrote in the caption. “Thank you, Kim, for bringing him by ❤️,” Kardashian replied with a love heart emoji.
Close responded directly, defending Kardashian and describing her as a friend.
“You know what … whatever your opinion of Kim is, I want you to know she is a KIND, funny, steady, smart powerhouse of a woman and mother,” Close wrote, adding, “She is my friend.”
Close and Kardashian have developed a friendship while working together on All’s Fair, in which they play divorce lawyers.
The series premiered in October 2025 and was renewed for a second season in November that year. Filming for the new season reportedly began in April, although a release date has not been announced.
Speaking about Kardashian, Close previously said, “I was very impressed by Kim. She’s a fun, smart, lovely woman.”
