Mia Talerico, best known for playing Charlie Duncan on Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie, has officially begun her final year of high school at the age of 17.

The actress shared photos on Instagram on Wednesday, August 19, marking her first day of senior year.

“Last First Day! Now i’m starting to feel old😭,” Talerico wrote in her caption.

Talerico starred as Charlie on Good Luck Charlie from 2010 to 2014.

The Disney Channel series followed the Duncan family in Denver, with eldest daughter Teddy, played by Bridgit Mendler, recording video diaries filled with advice for her younger sister.

The series premiered in April 2010 and concluded in February 2014.

Since the show ended, Talerico has appeared in several short films and played Paige in the Brat TV series Mani.

In 2020, she reunited with Mendler, Bradley Steven Perry, Jason Dolley, Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer for a virtual Good Luck Charlie reunion marking the show’s 10th anniversary.

Reflecting on her childhood role during the reunion, Talerico said, “I probably had a really easy role ‘cause I just got told most of my lines or didn’t have any.”

She added, “I think it was really easy because most of the time, it was what happened. We just rolled with it.”

Talerico previously documented her first day of high school in 2023, when she began ninth grade. Her former TV mother, Baker, responded, “She’s so big! Mia, you’re beautiful!”
