Elliot Page stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance with girlfriend Julia Shiplett at the New York premiere of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, with the couple making one of their highest-profile public appearances together since confirming their relationship.

The Juno and The Umbrella Academy star looked sharp in a classic black suit paired with a crisp white shirt and black tie, while Shiplett opted for an elegant black gown with a sweetheart neckline. The couple smiled for photographers as they posed together, offering another glimpse into their low-key romance.

Page, 39, stars in The Odyssey as Sinon, the Greek soldier whose deception helps Odysseus execute the legendary Trojan Horse strategy. The film reunites him with director Christopher Nolan for the first time since the pair worked together on the Oscar-winning sci-fi thriller Inception in 2010.

The premiere marked a rare public outing for Page and Shiplett, who have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. The couple first went public in June 2025 before making their official red carpet debut at Milan Fashion Week later that year.

Shiplett, an actor and comedian best known for the comedy series Overcompensating, has frequently shared affectionate tributes to Page on social media. Following the London premiere of The Odyssey earlier this month, she posted a collection of behind-the-scenes photographs from their evening together, jokingly referring to the blockbuster as "this charming little indie."

Page has largely stayed away from red carpet events in recent years, making his appearance alongside Shiplett particularly notable. Since coming out as transgender in 2020, the actor has spoken about feeling more comfortable attending public events while living authentically.

The Odyssey features one of the year's biggest ensemble casts, including Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Zendaya as Athena, Charlize Theron as Calypso, Jon Bernthal, Samantha Morton and John Leguizamo.

Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic arrives in cinemas on July 16, 2026, marking Page's first feature film role since 2023's Close to You and his first collaboration with Nolan in 16 years.
