Daniella Monet shares first details about 'Hollywood Arts' and Trina Vega’s return

Daniella Monet has shared new details about Hollywood Arts, the upcoming Victorious spin-off, confirming the direction of Trina Vega's story more than a decade after the original Nickelodeon series ended.

Speaking on The Zach Sang Show, Monet revealed that the pilot episode follows Trina as she returns to Hollywood Arts High School as a substitute teacher. Initially, the character accepts the job hoping to meet the famous parents of students, but over the course of the series, she discovers a genuine passion for teaching. Monet is set to reprise her role as Trina Vega and also serves as an executive producer on the project.

The actress reflected on the lasting popularity of Victorious, which concluded in 2013, and discussed the show's impact on fans over the years. She also hinted that several familiar faces from the original cast are expected to return, although no additional casting announcements were made during the interview.

Beyond the upcoming series, Monet spoke about balancing her acting career with raising two children and explained why Hallmark films have become a good fit for her current stage of life. She also looked back on her early career, including auditions for Hannah Montana and the musical Chicago, and shared stories about her experiences working in the entertainment industry.
