The FIFA World Cup final halftime lineup is here — who's on it?
Justin Bieber joins Shakira, BTS and Madonna for FIFA's first-ever World Cup final halftime show on July 19

Justin Bieber has officially been announced as one of the headline performers for the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show, joining an all-star lineup that includes Shakira, BTS, Madonna, Burna Boy and other global performers.
The historic performance is scheduled to take place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, where the 2026 FIFA World Cup champions will be crowned. The halftime show marks a significant milestone for FIFA, introducing a Super Bowl-style entertainment spectacle to the tournament's biggest match for the first time.
According to organizers, the 11-minute performance will be curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aiming to raise $100 million to improve children's access to education and football opportunities worldwide.
In addition to Bieber, the entertainment lineup features Afrobeats star Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, a New York-based elementary school choir that will perform alongside Coldplay. Burna Boy recently collaborated with Shakira on the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, "Dai Dai."
In a statement, Bieber said he was honored to participate in the landmark event, adding that he was especially proud to support an initiative focused on expanding educational opportunities for children around the world.
The World Cup enters its final stages with eight teams still competing for football's biggest prize, including Argentina, France, England, Spain, Morocco, Belgium, Norway and Switzerland. The quarterfinals begin this week as anticipation builds for both the championship match and the tournament's inaugural halftime show.
The addition of globally recognized music stars is expected to make the 2026 FIFA World Cup final one of the most-watched sporting and entertainment events of the year.
