Jamie Lee Curtis has renewed her public criticism of Donald Trump by sharing a passage about the former president’s political tactics on Instagram.

Curtis posted the passage alongside a throwback photograph of Trump without adding further commentary. The text referenced an account of tactics that attorney Roy Cohn reportedly taught Trump during the 1970s and 1980s, including ignoring rules, delaying proceedings and managing media coverage.

The passage was drawn from a recent New Yorker profile by journalist David Cay Johnston. According to the article, Johnston examined Cohn’s influence on Trump during the early stages of his career.

Curtis’ Instagram post quickly drew attention from commenters, with some connecting the passage to Cohn’s relationship with Trump and the 2024 film The Apprentice, which portrays their relationship.

The actress has been publicly critical of Trump for years. Her comments have included criticism dating back to 2016, when she responded to resurfaced comments Trump made about her Freaky Friday co-star Lindsay Lohan.

Following Trump’s 2024 presidential election victory, Curtis also expressed concern about what she described as a potential return to a more restrictive political environment.

Curtis later deactivated her X account after Elon Musk became involved with the incoming administration and participated in “No Kings” protests in 2025.

Earlier in 2026, Curtis also criticised the administration’s immigration enforcement policies at a Project Angel Food event, where she described ICE enforcement as inhumane and encouraged those attending to oppose the policies.

The latest Instagram post continues Curtis’ long-running public engagement with political issues. The actress has frequently used social media and public appearances to express her views on American politics and social issues.

Curtis is currently promoting several entertainment projects, including Prime Video’s Scarpetta, while continuing her work as an actress and producer.
