Deadly tribal feud rocks Qila Abdullah
Old enmity erupted into deadly violence in the Badwan area of Qila Abdullah district, Balochistan, leaving four people dead and an innocent young girl critically injured.
Unidentified armed assailants opened fire on the victims on Sunday, killing Obaidullah, Ziaullah, Aimal, and Muhammad Shahid. The young girl, identified as Bibi Sania, sustained severe injuries in the attack.
Grieving relatives blocked the Quetta-Chaman National Highway with the bodies of the deceased, bringing traffic to a complete standstill.
The protest ended after lengthy negotiations with Deputy Commissioner Munawar Hussain Magsi and other senior administrative and police officials, allowing traffic to resume.
The bodies and the injured were initially rushed to the Trauma Centre at Mizei Adda. Doctors declared the four men dead on arrival, while Bibi Sania was referred to Quetta for further treatment.
