Governor pays tribute to Kargil martyr

KARACHI:

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has paid rich tribute to Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed on his 27th martyrdom anniversary.

He said Captain Sher Khan Shaheed's eternal sacrifice is a golden chapter in the nation's history.

The governor said that brave son of the nation wrote a new chapter of courage during the Kargil conflict. He said that brave sons like Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed are the pride of this land.

Hashmi said that the nation will never forget the sacrifice of this great hero, who was awarded the Nishan-e-Haider.

"The martyrs of the Pakistan Army are the pride of our nation and the honour of the country," said the governor.

He also offered prayers for the elevation of the ranks of Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed.
