The Season 4 finale of From delivers several major character deaths and significant developments that reshape the series ahead of its confirmed final season.
Episode 10 concludes with a dramatic shift in the show's status quo, as Jade and Tabitha become trapped in the cavern of bones while attempting to recover the remains hidden beneath the Bottle Tree.
Their escape plan unravels after Sophia sabotages the rope ladder, leaving them stranded underground as the sky suddenly darkens and the Creatures close in.
Elsewhere, Mari is killed after Smiley enters the clinic when an earthquake dislodges the protective talisman.
As Fatima begins transforming into one of the Creatures, Smiley refers to her as "Mother" before fatally attacking Mari. Kristi, Ellis and Randall arrive moments too late, with Mari dying in Kristi's arms.
The finale also sees Elgin reject Sophia's offer to help her in exchange for returning home. Remaining steadfast, he refuses her proposal and is killed.
Meanwhile, Sophia and Clara secretly remove every talisman from the town while residents are distracted, leaving Fromville defenceless.
Victor survives a tense confrontation with his father, Henry, who briefly believes killing Victor will allow him to escape what he sees as a dream.
Ethan's arrival interrupts the encounter, allowing Victor to disarm Henry before anyone is harmed.
As Jade and Tabitha signal for help, Boyd leads a rescue mission into the tunnels. Fatima stays behind to hold off the Creatures, fully embracing her transformation so the others can escape.
The episode ends with Sophia meeting the Boy in White before throwing the stolen talismans into the Farway Tree. "You're gonna lose this time," the Boy in White says. "I guess we'll see," Sophia replies, setting the stage for the series' final season.
